Saying too little, too late is not only awfully harsh on a game that really only got torn apart in the media post launch because mega-textures didn't work so smoothly on current gen consoles.......but it's also pretty ironic in a bad way to say "too little, too late" about a RAGE DLC rumor in one sentance, then to end your post with "long live gaming".
RAGE's cheap price at retail combined with a really good DLC pack could work out pretty well...
I see MS has started another anti-Sony internet propaganda campaign.
Obviously because of how foolish they looked at E3 this year.
When have we ever seen so many PS3 haters all over these comments? Oh yeah........durring their last internet propaganda campaign.
I know. How someone who writes "would of" (or "should of" or "could of") gets work wirting articles for a website is beyond me.
Not only that, but the editor of the site seems to think there's nothing wrong with "would of" either.
"Would of".........words that NEVER, in any way do they ever go together in the english language........Jeebus.......w ith all the information and educational material on the int...
So, let me get this straight. This guy (the author) says as of this moment Plus just wasn't for him. OK. But he is somehow convinced to subscribe to Plus SOLELY based on what is as of right now is just internet rumor? He decided to spend $17 on pure internet speculation, hours or days (idk exactly when he claims to have subscribed) before Sony MAY or MAY NOT end up announcing this theorhetical Plus revamping?
Not only all of that, but he also says for some reason that &qu...
Uhhhhhh, yeah. If you want to be real specific as to whether it's a DC property.....you're right. But do you notice something all the games you listed have in common? BATMAN. Those are Batman games more specifically than a DC Universe game. I figured everyone in this conversation would just know I was not really talking about Batman games. Because there have been great Batman games going right back to NES.
As a full on DC Universe game, meaning things outside of Batma...
@pwn
This is why I'm calling for an act of congress to have DC's Captain Marvel officially be referred to a SHAZZAM!. Because there's always someone who says "Captain Marvel is a DC/Marvel character" when either of their names are ever brought up.
MARVEL also has a Captain Marvel, though I guess officially it's Mahr-Vell or something like that, but everyone just says Marvel even in the comics usually. It's annoying and one of the...
"Darkseid?, Thanos actually fights his battles"
HA!!! Thanos is my 2nd favorite comic book character behind only Wolverine, so I love this line. It's funny because of how true it is......well......as "true" as comic books can be I suppose.
According to you MK vs DC "got it wrong", so this won't sell well, yet MK vs DC sold pretty damn well regardless of all the negative trolls attacking just the idea of the game from Day 1 of it being announced. I remember back in like Christmas 2009 the 1 year mark, sales of MK vs DC had just reached 2 million. It's probably close to 3 million at this point. So what do you know about what's good, and what's going to sell?
Not much by the looks of it. ...
Well your last point is the very reason I think a Marvel vs DC fighting video game will EVENTUALLY happen.
Both companies have now had a taste of successfull video games.
That's EXACTLY right, and that's EXACTLY the reason it could happen.
How each company is doing monetarily has had nothing to do with when the 2 companies have done cross-overs. In fact, if anything, they only tend to team up when they're both doing well. They did...
I'm the biggest MK fan. But MK can take a bit of break for once. Take a nice long break on the high note the latest MK left us with. Besides, Mortal Kombat has been the #1 most dependable release schedule. A new MK has released approximately every 2 years since the series started. It won't be TOO missed if the next MK has a much longer development cycle to ensure another high quality product like the last one.
It's probably also good for that team who has done not...
Wait a minute. Is that a scripted skit using Monster Hunter 4's graphic engine, or was that representative of gameplay?
Because Honestly, I'm the biggest MH fan in the world.....well, maybe in the west........this video doesn't look like "Monster Hunter", it looks more like "Monster Avoider".
I don't know how any Monster Hunter fans could be excited for this crap. I'm not saying it's bad or whatever, what I'm sa...
3-D is great for racing games. The two compliment each other perfectly. Gran Turismo 5 and Motorstorm are incredible in 3-D. And I'm only playing them on the small PlayStation 3-D display. It could only be better the bigger the TV.
I play Killzone in 3-D too. And I think 3-D works well with FPSs. But in terms of shooters I think 3-D works better with "rail shooters" like House of the Dead.
As of right now, those are the only game types I like wi...
Wow........Brick Breakers are one of my favorite genres of all time, and this may just knock off Magic Ball (Orbz) as my favorite Brick Breaker ever depending on how good it is. This is going to be only the 3rd mini I've ever spent actual money on outside of my Plus membership. (also bough Monsters (Probably) Kidnapped My Princess and Tetris)
I would say my major disappointment in this title is that it's not an actuall full PSN title and maybe with better visuals. Not...
Thanks for explaining it to ME?!?!?!
Asim, you were the one who seemed amazed, surprised and proud of yourself that you just noticed the T in Vagrant Story is the same is the T in this. Not me.
I didn't need anything explained to me. I knew FF12 was set in the same reality as Vagrant Story since Game Informers first sneek peek at FF12 in which they said the two games were tied together.
Maybe it's just coincidence that you now know, a...
Did you never notice that FF12 looks very similar to Vagrant Story? It's not a coincidence. I'm thinking no one ever told you that FF12 and Vagrant Story are part of the same "universe".
Now you know.
It looks as much like a "comic book super hero game" as X-Men Legends or Marvel Ultimate Alliance do. It's basically the same idea, just much deeper in terms of character building.
This is great for me. I loved the XML and MUA games so much but felt all of them were too "small" in terms of scope and scale compared to what Marvel does in the comics. I'm REALLY looking forward to this assuming it's coming to PS3. I know the article says it is on ...
That's exactly what I'm doing. I'm not buying Dragon's Dogma because of what it is........a co-op RPG that doesn't have co-op. I'm sorry, but for anyone who knows Monster Hunter, the comparrison between that and Dragon's Dogma is impossible not to make. It's the same exact thing.
You go into a town and you get contracts to take down large beast terrorizing that town. That sentance describes both Dragon's Dogma and Monster Hunter. This game...
It's the top-down RPGs that really show how great co-op is for the RPG genre. Champions of Norrath, Diablo. MMORPG also show how great RPGs are co-op. I think Monster Hunter is the greatest co-op game of all time. As for "open-world" RPGs with co-op, I can really only think of Sacred 2 Fallen Angel, which is like Diablo. I never played Borderlands, is that open world?
I'm always disapointed when a RPG I'm looking forward to doesn't have co-op. Though...
Have we played Diablo?! I think the question is: Have you ever even bothered to play these types of games on a console. Spells and skills that have to be placed are not an issue at all on consoles.
It can be done like Dragon Age and some others, where when you cast a spell that has to be placed, the action pauses while you decide where to place the targeting area of effect.
Or it can be done how Sacred 2 Fallen Angel and a few others do, which is basically th...
Thanks for the Beta test guys.
Now seriously, don't just go online acting like it's the greatest thing ever made if it isn't just because it's timed 360 exclusive. I know how the majority of gamers who give their opinions on websites can be. Because something's exclusive to their platform of choice they may turn a blind eye to the game's, or content's flaws.
I'm just saying 360 owners who plan to buy this. Make sure you gu...
